Hardware Acceleration & HPC
(Stratix® 10 / Stratix® V /Arria® 10) ​​

The challenge was to develop ultra-low latency and ultra-low gate count Ethernet MAC/PCS and RS-FEC IP Cores for algorithmic trading.

Orthogone used a holistic approach to develop multiple Ethernet MAC/PCS flavours to support multiple data rates and Forward Error Correction (FEC) options. A single Verilog source code platform was used to support all configurations, options, and technology process nodes.

Surveillance & Security Radar Applications
(Cyclone® Max 10)

The challenge was to design a cost-effective 24GHz FMCW Security Radar used in surveillance applications

Orthogone develop a cost-effective security radar solution that integrates 24GHz RF modules with DSP SoC in a small footprint, very low power consumption and long-range performance. They rely on us to overcome the significant challenge of optimizing DSP algorithms generally executed on a high-performance CPU or FPGA and porting them into the SHAVE HW accelerators of the Myriad-2 SoC.
